WW II German Aircraft Höhenmesser - ALTIMETER Fl. 22322 - Me109 Fw190 - NICE!

Description

You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe 0-13 km Hohenmesser (Altimeter), Fl. 22322, as used in the Me109, Fw190, Me262, and other late-war German fighter aircraft!
This instrument measured the altitude of the aircraft using the surrounding air pressure.
It was located on the main instrument panel of many early and late-war German aircraft.
Made of dark black bakelite, this is an EXCELLENT used example, dating later in the war.
The FL. number is clearly marked on the face, indicating Fl. 22322, and the data label is on the reverse.
There are some light marks and scratches, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance.

esponds well to air pressure, but not sure if airworthy.
The millibar adjustment knob still functions 100%!  I have indicated it's location in the last photos.
