(Refurb/Dry Sound Mod Service) for Rockman X100 SR&D Scholz Headphone Amplifier

This listing is for modification/refurbishing service on your own Rockman X100 headphone amplifier! Dry sound modification will be performed by removing existing chorus/echo switch and retrofitting two micro switches in its place. Front panel slot for chorus/echo switch will be elongated to accommodate both switches. All (11) Electrolytic Capacitors will be replaced. Since the introduction of the X100, users have requested the ability to play and record dry guitar sounds. Original chorus/echo switch will be replaced with two high quality sealed switches.

Electrolytic capacitors dry out or leak over time as they have a limited lifespan of 20-30 years. All (11) Electrolytic Capacitors will be replaced.
All switches and jacks will be cleaned and lubricated. Headphone jacks replaced if necessary. Solder joints checked and resoldered as necessary. Chorus/Echo Dry sound modification will be performed.
I have been an electronics technician since 1983. Rockman unit has been fully serviced and ready to use for years to come without needing costly refurbishing.
It is recommended not to store unit with batteries if not being used for a period of time. I have seen what battery corrosion does and it is not pretty! To protect battery cover from breakage, loosen all 3 housing screws before removing cover. Do not pry open!

Handling time is set for 15 business days to allow time for shipment to me. Unit will be refurbished and returned as soon as possible, which should be a few days, unless other repairs are needed.
